There is a lot of bullshit rap out there today, not gunna name names as everyone has their own opinions but I think we can all agree on one *cough* soulja boy. Thank god for us there is a new group of rappers that are here to save the day. The rebirth of hip hop is in full force and its fucking dope. In my mind the XXL freshmen of 09 are the strongest group of rappers since the hayday of Biggie and Pac. Ash Roth, Kid Cudi, Wale, B.O.B, and the guy I'm most fanatic about, Charles Hamilton. Seriously these guys need to be checked out. I know Bobby Ray is having absolutely no problems with publicity, but who cares hes soft as baby shit anyways, and Ash Roth is a college favourite, but Why CH isn't bigger I don't know. He has some of the wierdest most fucked up shit I have ever heard and its incredible. He remixes beats from the likes of Kanye and Lupe, and samples things like the Charlie Brown and Sonic the Hedgehog themes.
